Welcome to Country Bugs Orphanage website! No we are not an Orphange for Humans or Animals of any kind. Here's our History and How we became known as "Country Bugs Orphanage".
My parents and I lived in the country on a small farm and we had all kinds of cats. We had bottle fed a few kittens even helped a mother cat raise her two young kittens. It was a very fun time! I became fond of the country life and taking pictures of what Mother Nature had created, from flowers to animals.
I sat around one day trying to think of a name to call my small hobby of taking pictures. I came up with "Country" because we lived in the country - "Bugs" because we had so many ladybugs that year crawling all over our yard - "Orphanage" because of all the cats we had and the three kittens I fed on a bottle. So from that day my hobby became known as "Country Bugs Orphanage" (a.k.a. Country Bugs Creations).
In November 1997 I got my first computer and got hooked up to the internet. As I got more into the whole internet thing - I decided to build a website in April 1998. And of course it became Country Bugs Orphanage. I had all kinds of things about cats. I even added my dad's dog, Buster to the website. He had his own doggy page. We had to have a least one dog to keep the cats settled down on the www. I later closed that website April 2000. I didn't have time to keep the website up.
The second time around of Country Bugs Orphange on the internet is an Memorial Page to all the cats I have lost and to the Buster who was killed 3/2/01. We miss them all very much. This website is dedicated to all of them who have brighten our lives when we had a bad day and they were there to cheer us up. Thank You. May you rest in peace in Heaven. See you again my friends. Love You.
